International White Cane Safety Day

15/10/2026 News

As every year, White Cane Safety Day will take place on 15 October 2026. It was first established in 1964 by US President Lyndon B. Johnson and is recognised as a global day of action for blind people. The aim is to draw society’s attention to the rights, needs and independence of blind and visually impaired people.

In this context, we would like to remind you once again that we stock HaseBikes therapeutic bicycles. They have developed a tandem bike that enables visually impaired people to fully experience and enjoy the freedom and fun that cycling brings. You can choose between models with or without an electric motor.

Please feel free to pop in for a consultation and we’ll find the right therapeutic bike for you!
